in this post we will be discussing about the topic
why type c is everywhere?
nowadays we can see that external hard drive, mobile phones contains usb type C.
even tho newly made laptops also have usb type C and they support data transfer as well as charging support.
so, what is the reason behind avoiding micro usb in phone chargers and other materials and giving the support of type c charging in laptops?
before answering this question let's talk about power consumption.
now a days there are arriving different fast charging mechanism
like woop charging, das charging etc.
how fast your phone will be charged that depends upon your charger, cable, and it also depends upon your phone!
to make your phone charged fast there is the proper hand shaking of your phone and charger.
the charger takes the information from your phone at which ampere your phone will be fast charge.
after getting the information the charger provides the particular ampere to your phone so that could be fast charged!
when there is the proper hand shaking of your phone then, the charging process is safe in new devices.
now, let's talk about micro usb
micro usb can simply deliver the power of only 60 watts
but, talking about new devices, they need maximum 250 watts.
so, the micro usb can not deliver more than 60 watts safely because it is made for low powered devices
micro usb can deliver only 5gbps data but type c can deliver minimum 40 gbps data.
type c is used in gaming console, mobile, laptops etc.
and there is the high possibility that it could be used in apple powered devices after Iphone 14
type c is the next generation because our power requirement is getting more and more.
we also want to transfer data in less time so, type c is used in many devices.
it is not true that micro usb is not used now a days but its implemented in different headphone chargers and speaker chargers.
it is also used now a days where there is low power consumption.
so, i hope you got some tech information reading this post till the end
